Risaalaat Winter Educational Tour 2010-2011

IslamIFC Summer Tour 2010

Salaam Alaikum to All Brothers, Sisters, and Friends,

Congratulations and salutations to all during this Holy month of Ramadan and success! We are

happy to report the success of our 17th educational tour which included the anniversary of our Beloved Imam Mahdi (a.ta.f.) on the 15th of Shaban.

We held 30 hours of classes which included Islamic beliefs (Usool Aqaa'id), Islamic ethics (Akhlaaq), and Islamic ahkaam. The group performed ziarat of Imam Reza (as) in Mashad and Hadrat Fatemah (sa) in Qom which was well received by all inshAllah. Our visits with prominent ulama included Ayatullah Makarim Shirazi who was visitng in Mashad, Ayatullah Sayyid Razi Shirazi in Tehran, and both Ayatullah Mazaheri and Ayatullah Naseri in Isfahan. We were honored to have spiritual sessions and a question and answer period during these visits.

In Isfahan, many historical sites were toured and classes were held on the tafsir of the well-known supplication, "Munajaat Shabaniyeh" which is recited during the month of Shaban. In Qom, in addition to the classes and ziarat, the group participated in the celebrations held in Jamkaron which highlighted the tour giving the group the opportunity to share the blessings with crowds of people gathering on this auspicious occasion.

Our New Publication

VICEGERENCY (Risalah al-Wilayah), a treatise on Islamic mysticism and spiritual wayfaring by Allamah Seyyid Muhammad Husain Tabatabai is available at bookstores now.
